Reflections uses the responsive Fancybox lightbox jQuery photo gallery by Fancyapps and supports both images and videos. You can swipe and zoom (tap) on mobile devices; you can move through photos and videos by the keyboard as well or else click the arrows.

Configurable options of Fancybox currently implemented are:

But there are more things I have not yet implemented. I have also been pondering about making Fancybox one option of others: so it would depend on your choice of how to display the images/videos (which gallery to use). Unfortunately I do not yet have support (it's not built into Fancybox) a carousel mode.

Please note that Fancybox can be used free of charge for non-commercial uses but for commercial uses it requires a license; see License.txt in the skin directory for information on this (I'll try linking to it elsewhere as well).

Reflections has four different filters with the most important one being the Reflection filter itself. The Gradient Paint Filter is also a significant part of the skin but all or none of the filters need be used.

As of 04 October 2020 I have documentation for three of the filters and a list of some albums: just the default settings; in the reflection filter documentation page I link to another album specific to a filter feature. I am wanting to get the skin back on the jAlbum website and I am very tired recently so I do not know when I will get the other documentation done or when this will be more populated but I hope so.

Building albums: Preview in local external browser and not jAlbum itself (Last updated: 04 Oct 2020)

Due to the limitations of the jAlbum album previewer you need to preview the generated album in your browser rather than in jAlbum itself. To do this easily depends on your platform.

For the time being I'm not sure how to do this on mobile devices but I've not yet tested my skin or filters under phones or tablets either. I hope to do this eventually but I do not know when (sorry!).

Bugs / Limitations / Quirks

The only thing I am aware of is that if one goes directly to a slide page it doesn't automatically open up the lightbox; this I believe can be fixed but I consider it non-important as normally one will just click on an image at the index pages and scroll through them that way.
